Job Description

3D Rendering Artist

About the company:

Acoufelt creates holistic soundscaping solutions with sustainable soft architectural interior acoustic products. Making Quiet™ where people work, learn, and connect is what we do. We partner with designers to develop materials and strategies to soundscape any environment, making its experience healthier and more productive for people and the planet.

About the role:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Architectural Rendering Specialist with a focus on Acoufelt products to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of acoustical design and be proficient in 3D visualization and rendering software. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, realistic renderings of architectural projects that incorporate Acoufelt’s innovative acoustical solutions, including acoustic panels, ceiling treatments, wall finishes, and custom-designed acoustical elements that balance functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create photorealistic 3D renderings and visualizations of architectural spaces incorporating Acoufelt’s acoustical products such as acoustic panels, ceiling baffles, wall treatments, and custom solutions.
  • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and acoustical engineers to understand project requirements and effectively integrate Acoufelt products into visual designs.
  • Develop detailed and accurate models of architectural plans using software like AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and 3ds Max, ensuring the integration of Acoufelt’s acoustical solutions is accurately represented in the visual designs.
  • Use rendering software such as Corona Render, V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape to create high-quality images and animations that demonstrate the acoustical properties of Acoufelt products (e.g., sound absorption, noise control, and visual aesthetics).
  • Simulate the effects of Acoufelt products within a space, showing how different materials, colors, and design configurations contribute to both acoustic performance and visual appeal.
  • Collaborate with the Acoufelt product team to stay updated on new product offerings and integrate them into rendering projects.
  • Prepare visual assets for presentations, marketing materials, and client meetings, emphasizing how Acoufelt products can enhance the acoustics and aesthetics of the space.
  • Revise renderings based on feedback from internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with both the aesthetic goals and acoustical requirements of the space.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in acoustics and design, particularly related to soft acoustical products and their impact on interior environments.

About You:

  • Proficient in 3D rendering software such as Corona Render, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Keyshot or similar tools.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Keyshot).
  • Ability to accurately represent Acoufelt’s product features in visual form, demonstrating both their functional and aesthetic qualities.
  • Proficient in post-production tools like Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, or similar software for refining renderings and animations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in balancing the technical and aesthetic needs of acoustical design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams, including acoustical engineers, architects, and designers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive health benefits (including health, vision, dental)
  • 401k contributions
  • PTO
  • Volunteer time off
  • Wellhub membership
  • Competitive salary package and incentives
