The Role: We seek a talented and experienced 'Able Seaman'.

Description Brief:

The Able Seaman (AB) forms the core of the Deck team, working at the direction of the Bosun, Deck Officers and or Safety Officer. Possibility of being assigned to bridge watch-keeping as Quartermaster or safety maintenance as Fire Patrol. AB on deck launch and recover all watercraft, operate the Heli-Deck, and operate Tenders and other craft as required depending on which ship they are assigned. All exterior maintenance and presentation are undertaken by the Deck team.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Able Seaman certification and relevant maritime qualifications.; Previous experience in a similar role on a ship is preferred.; Knowledge of maritime safety regulations and procedures.; Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.; Good communication and teamwork skills.; Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to a dynamic work environment.; Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position.; An amazing team player with a positive attitude to ‘get the job done’.;
