Job Description

Baceline Group is the largest owner and operator of small format, necessity-based Neighborhood Shopping Centers across the United States. We are seeking to fill the position of Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Accounting team. This role emphasizes the efficient and accurate completion of AR processes and reports directly to Baceline's Controller.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with strong communication and analytical skills who excels in managing accounts receivable, supporting tenant relations, and optimizing AR processes. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Maximize Tenant Revenue: Ensure timely payment processing, provide tenants with access to their account balances via the Tenant Portal, and respond promptly to tenant inquiries.
  • Utility and Lease Commission Invoice Processing: Accurately review and process third-party lease commissions and tenant utility billbacks in a timely manner.
  • Tenant Relationship Management: Provide timely responses to tenant billing inquiries and assist with payment processing.
  • Tenant Portal Management: Support tenant portal registration and usage while tracking and reporting on adoption metrics.
  • Lease Revenue Processing: Review and approve leasing revenue reports in a timely manner at the end of each month.
  • Process Development & Optimization: Define, document, and maintain AR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting functions
  • Experience in real estate, property management, or tenant-facing industries is a plus, but not required
  • Strong time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and exceptional organizational abilities

Salary Range

$65,000-$75,000/year depending on experience
