We are looking for someone comfortable working in a small family company environment. Must be here in person. The position is part time with flexibility. We will need you to work additional hours during our busy season.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Greet clients when necessary.
· Perform general clerical work. Photocopying and scanning. Data entry, spreadsheet management.
· File documents and assist in maintaining a filing system that is easily accessible.
· Provide administrative support as needed.
· Help prepare invoices.
· Track all payments made for tax preparation and follow up on returns.
· Monitor the phone calls and speak to clients about ongoing deliverables.
· Ensure that all clients receive their deliverables on time.
· Review accuracy of returns and error detection, attention to detail on items leaving the office.
· Assist with the managing of the office, maintain office inventories.
· Working with bookkeeping software.
· Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
· Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
· Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
· The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information.
· A willingness to learn.
· Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
· High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
