Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned, licensed and private label brands is seeking an Amazon/Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to help drive rapid growth via Amazon using a variety of marketing and merchandising tactics and strategies. Responsibilities will include supporting advertising/promos/marketing, data/content, inventory/merchandising, creative, technical, and operational functions - with the objective of swiftly achieving a strong position across Komar’s brand portfolio.

The objective: drive top line revenue growth and brand positioning to help transform the consumer experience for Komar’s brands on Amazon while laying the foundation to build best in category programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with sales and marketing activities for Amazon, manage direct relationships with marketplace accounts and leverage integration platforms (ChannelAdvisor) to streamline operations
  • Subject matter expert in all things related to Amazon content and channel optimization, brand identity and consistency, and digital analytics
  • Identify opportunities to expand the breadth of product portfolio positioned to Amazon; conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning, and assist in the creation of a roadmap for gaining market share
  • Help drive Amazon promo levers and building a promo calendar- Vine, Deals, Coupons, events, etc.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to build A+ content, storefronts, enhanced images/videos, and other digital assets
  • Sales and data analysis, connecting the dots, and comfortable making strategic business decisions
  • Drive and promote a clean marketplace with strong pricing and product presentation and support the Komar’s vision of building the Amazon channel into a strategic profit center
  • Stay updated on best practices for Amazon and other marketplaces.
  • Launch, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize product listings to ensure high ranking on Amazon.
  • Maintain account health through monitoring metrics like violations, product compliance, shipping metrics, customer reviews, etc.
  • Assist with building successful Amazon advertising campaigns, including: Sponsored Ads, Brands, Display, etc.
  • Assist with international expansion: identify new business opportunities and lead growth into new marketplaces on Amazon

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 year of experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central/other digital marketplaces; experience with ChannelAdvisor and/or similar data integration platforms preferred; proven track record of success
  • Experience with Amazon Ads a plus
  • Strategic and resourceful thinker with strong business aptitude
  • Deep understanding of online market dynamics and competition
  • Highly effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge with e-commerce, web, mobile and social media
  • Experience with data driven measurement and/or digital attribution
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
