Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for an Applications Analyst to join a leading healthcare organization in Cordele, GA. This is a full-time position to support physician engagement and optimize clinical systems. This role involves regular interaction with physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) and across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, clinical systems, and provider training. You'll play a key role in improving workflows, supporting onboarding, and enhancing the use of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical applications.

In This Role You Will:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and the physician/APP community.
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend application solutions to improve provider efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing providers.
  • Monitor system usage and identify opportunities for workflow optimization.
  • Create custom reports, queries, and interfaces tailored to provider needs.
  • Provide hands-on support during onboarding and routine rounding with providers.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical and financial systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for IT support.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid role with regular on-site presence at healthcare facilities.
  • Fast-paced, collaborative environment with frequent provider interaction.
  • Occasional travel to support provider onboarding and training.
  • Must be available for after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, Systems, or related field OR 5+ years of healthcare financial or clinical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical systems, or provider training.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Cerner also known as Oracle Health
  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct effective education sessions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with physician engagement or clinical informatics.
  • Familiarity with report writing tools and interface development.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., JCAHO, HIPAA).
