Architect | Aviation Design (Temporary)

Location: New York, NY (Full-Time, In-Person)

Duration: Through October

Software: Rhino (required), Revit (required)

Overview:

Our client, a globally recognized architecture and design firm known for delivering large-scale, high-profile, and technically complex projects , is seeking an Architect to support their aviation design team on a temporary basis through October . This role will contribute to the design development (DD) package for both architectural and interiors scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team on the development of architectural and interior design packages .
• Depending on experience, responsibilities may include building envelope , canopies , interior fit-outs , restrooms , or finish packages .
• Produce high-quality design documentation using Rhino and Revit .
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines in a fast-paced design environment.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working in design development phases on large, complex projects.
• Proficiency in Rhino and Revit is required .
• Previous aviation project experience is not required , but familiarity with large infrastructure or transportation projects is helpful.
• Ability to contribute to a team working at the intersection of architecture and interior design.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, onsite in the client’s New York City office.
• Collaborative, fast-paced studio environment within a global design practice.
