A nationally recognized civil litigation defense firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Boston office . This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join a growing, collegial practice that values professional development and a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

The Litigation Associate will be responsible for independently managing a diverse caseload with support from experienced litigation partners. Responsibilities include:

• Handling all phases of civil litigation, from inception through resolution or trial.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conducting legal research and fact investigation.
• Taking and defending depositions, attending court hearings, and participating in settlement negotiations.
• Working on matters involving general liability, personal injury, construction defects, trucking and transportation, and employment-related claims .

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience , preferably with a background in insurance defense .
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files independently.
• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Massachusetts bar admission . Admission to other New England jurisdictions or UBE transfer eligibility is a plus.
• Experience in labor and employment litigation is advantageous but not required.
