The Job:

As an Associate Social Media & Influence Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of our NA Brand Marketing team. You will collaborate with our regional brand team and global creative studio to lead those efforts for our brands, including BLACK+DECKER®, STANLEY®, IRWIN®, and LENOX®. Additionally, you will support strategy and execution of influencer and ambassador programs for Stanley Black and Decker brands, as needed. You’ll also get to:

• Develop a monthly social media content calendar that translates brand identity, overall social media framework, and brand priorities derived from quarterly briefs into best-in-class social media content.
• Manage a posting schedule in master content calendar and our social media management tool (Sprinklr)
• Write effective creative briefs and work cross-functionally with our global creative studio to develop social content.
• Lead social-first photo/video shoots and other content capture opportunities in partnership with global studio team to ensure social best practices and vision are consistently represented.
• Be chronically on social. Perform social listening for industry terms, brand terms, and trending topics, and flag meaningful opportunities for the brand to stand out within the broader social and digital landscape.
• Understand and support product launches, campaigns, events, and market changes.
• Support campaign planning, execution and management of brand ambassadors and influencers.
• Support additional brands on influencer activations as needed.
• Prepare and present monthly performance report.
• Moderate user-generated content and messages, as needed.
• Work with social care team to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met consistently.
• Perform administrative tasks like budget management, purchase order management, managing content review and approval process with internal stakeholders, etc.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in marketing or communication.
• 1-2 years of social media experience; Agency experience a plus.
• Proven track record of guiding social media and influencer strategy, execution and reporting.
• Well-versed in the nuances and technical capabilities of social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, and emerging platforms (Threads, Bluesky, RedNote, etc.).
• Comfortable using social media and influencer management tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout, CreatorIQ, AspireIQ, etc.)
