Job DescriptionReports To: Bartender, Beverage Manager, Food & Beverage Director
General Purpose: The Bar Back supports the bartender with a primary responsibility of restocking glasses, beverages, ice, etc. The Bar Back must always be one step ahead of bartender’s needs by keeping bar area clean, well-stocked, and organized and constantly looks for opportunities to learn more about beverages and to help other staff.
Specific Responsibilities:
Familiar with and knows the location of every item in inventory.
Assists/executes any and all tasks as assigned by bartender.
Stocks bar to par level before and after each shift.
Stocks bar service area.
Communicates with bartenders throughout shift.
Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.
Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers & guests.
Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area.
Assists/executes any and all tasks as assigned by other supervisors.
Follows all proper sanitation guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
Can lift heavy items, sometimes overhead.
Responsible, dependable, punctual.
Good communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
Clean and professional appearance.
Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
Must pass a background check.
Education/Formal Training:
High school or equivalent education required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
