Building Information Modeling Director

We are seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Director to drive the evolution of digital design and technology within an award winning architecture firm!

This leadership role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM), dedicated to enhancing efficiency, innovation, and collaboration across architectural projects. What You’ll Do:

• Manage and oversee firm-wide BIM standards, protocols, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• Identify and integrate emerging technologies, including automation, computational design, and AI-driven workflows.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring seamless BIM execution from concept to construction.
• Lead training initiatives to elevate BIM expertise across the firm.
• Work closely with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors to optimize digital workflows and data integration.
• Establish QA/QC processes to maintain high standards in BIM models and project documentation.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative solutions that enhance project delivery and sustainability.

About You:

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in BIM management within an architectural or multidisciplinary design firm that includes architecture.
• Expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and other BIM-related tools.
• Strong understanding of interoperability between BIM and other digital platforms, such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and coding languages (e.g., Python, C#).
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools like BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar.
• Leadership experience with a proven ability to train, mentor, and guide teams in adopting BIM best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking approach to design technology.
