BICP, a leader in the delivery of AI & Advanced Analytics data products for Retail customers, is hiring a Sr. Business Data Analyst to join our Data Products Delivery Team at a rapidly ascending Fashion & Apparel company in San Diego, California. You will work with client leadership to support a greenfield rollout of a new Retail Allocation system coordinating rollout activities, analyze & validate new system data against historical data, coalesce user feedback for continuous improvement and serve as the key day-to-day triage for the business among other critical task.

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills in addition to proven success collaborating effectively with key business stakeholders we well as highly technical development teams. You will have previous experience working with Retail data with solid SQL experience and end-to-end data experience including insights, analysis, and visualization (Microstrategy preferred). Any familiarity with Demand Planning, Line Planning, or Data Science – Stat Forecast is a huge plus.

What you will support:

• Serve as a day-to-day support resource for allocation users during system rollout.
• Track and troubleshoot user-reported issues and work with IT or vendor teams for resolution.
• Assist in validating data outputs from the new system and comparing them against historical allocations utilizing analytical skills & tools.
• Coordinate rollout activities including communications, UAT sessions, training support, and go-live planning.
• Document process changes and user feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Provide support in reviewing training materials and SOPs in collaboration with the project and allocation teams.
• Support change management efforts to help users adopt the new tools and processes.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum of 3+ years end-to-end data experience including insights, analysis and viz skills (preferably Microstrategy)
• Strong proficiency in SQL or similar programs
• Experience working directly with business partners to form a deep understanding of their business needs and partnering cross-functionally to develop solutions for broad use.
• Experience with all steps of the analytic process from requirements gathering, solution design, QA, debugging, and documentation.
• Experience in data profiling, data quality, and root cause analysis
• Prior experience with data architecture, defining and maintaining data assets, and developing data architecture strategies to support reporting and data visualization tools.
• Ability to communicate analysis results and subsequent impact to technical/non-technical audiences in both verbal and written form.
• Prior data visualization experience in tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, Python/R libraries, or similar tools
• Proficiency with cloud environments such as Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS
• Working understanding Agile methodologies and principles such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, and how they are applied in the workplace.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training

Nice to Have

• Data Science, specifically Stat Forecast
• Previous Line Planning & Demand Planning experience
