We’re seeking a Power BI Developer who will design, develop, and maintain robust data reporting solutions. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders (directors, business unit leaders, Continuous Improvement teams) to transform raw data into high-impact dashboards that drive performance and decision-making across the company.

What You’ll Own

You’ll be our in-house Power BI expert, leading everything from managing our online Power BI environment to building next-level dashboards. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on:

• Making fast progress : you’ll be expected to move quickly, build proof of concepts, and turn ideas into insights.
• Seeing what others don’t : you won’t just fulfill requests; you’ll help define the KPIs that matter by uncovering what’s hidden in the data.
• Working independently: you'll partner closely with data engineering but won’t need constant direction. You’ll know how to navigate datasets, shape models, and build clear dashboards that speak for themselves.

Your Day-to-Day

• Build new dashboards and maintain/refine existing ones using advanced Power BI features (Advanced DAX, Power Query, etc.).
• Collaborate with business leaders to shape and clarify reporting needs—then go build it.
• Update and optimize semantic models, establish row-level security, define measures, document code logic, and ensure performance is top-tier.
• Analyze raw data to help subject matter experts discover meaningful patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Lean on your SQL skills to write and tweak views or tables that improve data quality and simplify your reports.
• Own and manage our Power BI Online workspace: permissions, refreshes, usage monitoring, etc.
• Keep design top-of-mind: your dashboards will be branded, intuitive, and easy to digest.

Your Toolbox

• Power BI : You live in it. Advanced DAX, custom visuals, storytelling design, and strong UX instincts.
• SQL (T-SQL preferred) : You’re not a data engineer, but you can navigate databases, build or tweak views, and understand how to work with the data upstream.
• Azure Data Factory : Basic comfort is a plus—we’ve got engineers for complex ETL needs, but you can handle the small stuff.
• Data Modeling : You understand semantic models, star schemas, hierarchies, and clean data structures.
• Design Thinking : You care about clean layout, accessibility, and branding. You don’t just build dashboards—you build experiences.

What Makes You a Fit

• 3+ years in a Power BI-focused role
• Proven track record of managing and scaling BI reporting environments
• A strong communicator who’s just as comfortable with executives as you are with engineers
• Passion for working fast and delivering clean, high-impact dashboards
• Familiarity with project-based or construction workflows? Bonus points!
• We value skill and impact over diplomas. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred—but not required. If you’ve put in the reps, built meaningful dashboards, and know how to turn messy data into sharp insights, we want to talk.
