Job Description

The Judge Group is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The CNA will be responsible for providing dedicated healthcare support to a single high school student, ensuring their well-being and assisting with various health-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Recording Symptoms and Health Issues: Observe and document the student's symptoms and health issues, including recognizing seizures and implementing action plans.
• Providing First Aid: Administer first aid for injuries and illnesses such as cuts, bruises, and minor ailments.
• Assisting with Health Screenings: Help conduct any required health screenings for the student.
• Managing Student Health Records: Maintain accurate records for the student, including immunization records and medical histories.
• Providing Emergency Care: Administer emergency care as needed.
• Supporting Health Education Programs: Assist the school nurse with health education programs and assemblies relevant to the student.
• Maintaining Medical Supplies Inventory: Ensure the health office is well-stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
• Keeping Health Office Organized: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the health office.
• Communicating with Parents: Keep the student's parents informed regarding their child's health issues and care plans.
• Assisting with Special Health Needs: Provide support to the student with any chronic illnesses or special health needs.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Ability to recognize and respond to health issues, including seizures
• First aid and CPR certification
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a school setting or with children is preferred
