Job Description

Job Title: Contract HR Coordinator/Generalist
Location: Westchester County, NY
Contract Length: 3-6 months +
Start Date: July 7, 2025
Schedule: 3 days onsite

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator/Generalist (Contract) to support our Human Resources team with key administrative and operational responsibilities. This role will focus heavily on onboarding and offboarding, along with handling HR administrative tasks and providing generalist support across a variety of HR functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Onboarding & Offboarding • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding process for new hires (offer letters, background checks, I-9 documentation, system setup). • Ensure a seamless and positive new hire experience, including orientation scheduling and paperwork completion. • Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, system access removal, and documentation collection. • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files. • Support compliance with employment regulations and internal policies. • Assist with benefits administration and responding to employee inquiries. • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers. • Assist in employee relations matters, performance documentation, and policy interpretation. • Help coordinate training sessions, engagement initiatives, and other HR-related programs.

Qualifications: • 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in a coordinator or generalist capacity. • Solid understanding of onboarding and offboarding processes. • Experience with HRIS systems is preferred. • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is a plus.
