Data Visualization Analyst

Atlanta, GA 30339

On-Going Contract

As the Data Visualization Analyst, you’d be an active contributor to the Marketing Operations team within the Marketing organization at this major retailer. You’d be responsible for keeping team projects on-task, doing in-depth analytics, specifically scripting and visualizing, for implementing strategy and enhancing the store experience for this Fortune 20 Retail client. On this team, you’d be working with SQL, Excel and Tableau to manage analytics projects, utilizing data to create effective strategy for the customer’s experience.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for projects pertaining to marketing, campaign, tools, shopper and product data, optimizing the experience for the internal marketing and creative groups
Create and maintain visual reporting for strategic business decisions
Maintain and add capabilities existing content and data pipelines
Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing job exceptions and failures.
Will be responsible for providing and communicating status of scheduled and ad-hoc jobs to stakeholders.
Responsible for prioritizing projects and tasks to ensure deliverables and goals are met or exceeded on time

Qualifications:

2+ years of applicable professional experience
Bachelors’ Degree in: Business, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field preferred.
Proficiency querying data utilizing SQL
Experience with data visualization, preferably with Tableau
Expertise in Retail preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically expertise in Excel (Pivot Tables/V-Lookups)
Experience process analysis, reporting and improvement
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Effective interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Positive, upbeat, can-do, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team oriented
Google Big Query experience a plus, other data platforms are also applicable
