The Role

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Salary: $5,500 – $7,000 per month (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Database Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and support our team's data needs.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and availability.
  • Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
  • Develop and enforce database standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT and content teams to support data requirements.
  • Perform regular backups and recovery testing.
  • Stay updated with emerging database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Database Manager or similar role.
  • Proficiency in database languages such as SQL.
  • Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.​

Ideal Profile

  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Database Administrator role.

  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
