Insight Global is seeking a Director of IT to lead the strategic direction and execution of Commercial Applications, Business Intelligence (BI), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This Director is pivotal in innovating data-backed decision making and advancing digital transformation for the Sales, Market Access, Patient Services, and Marketing divisions of one of our local Pharmaceutical clients.
This will be a direct hire role - hybrid in Richmond, VA (Tues-Thurs)
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years' of IT leadership experience to implement compliant and adaptable IT solutions that are aligned with compliance standards
• 5+ years' experience within life sciences or the pharmaceutical industry with a strong understanding of operations and regulatory requirements
• Strong cross-functional management experience in managing commercial applications, BI platforms, and AI initiatives that align with corporate strategy
• Strong collaboration skills to work with Data Science and Commercial leaders to improve strategies and efficiency, and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Strong communication and collaboration experience to conduct vendor management and work with external stakeholders
• Experience managing Veeva CRM implementations and lifecycle management
• Experience overseeing integrations of ERP systems and external data sources
• Experience leading field force productivity and customer insights
• Experience leading BI strategies, such as Tableau, Power BI, data architecture and other visualization tools
• Experience creating KPI's and dashboards to track performance, customer engagement, and market updates
• Maintaining data compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience promoting the integration of AI/ML to enhance strategies for forecasting and targeting
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks and IQVIA data
• Strong experience with AWS, azure, and other cloud platforms, and data lakes
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
• Master’s or MBA
