Job Title: Distribution Center Support - 2nd Shift

Location: Windsor Locks, CT

Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (3 to 11)

Type: 4 Months Contract

What You will Do:

• Manage the planning and commit process for in-source work (plan release to shop floor).
• Ensure all material is processed efficiently during the pick pack ship process
• Train individuals on policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed
• Able to apply CORE, lean and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, reducing cost, and enhancing delivery integrity.
• Work with logistic supply base and internal stakeholders/colleagues to plan and execute risk mitigation actions (ITS)
• Works chronic or acute transportation issues as escalated to the Central Team by the Carries or the SBU/Site Logistics Leads
• Conducts cycle counts and records results.

Work Experience

How You Will Get Here:

• 1-3 years of management experience, shop floor warehouse management experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good time management
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
• SAP experience preferred

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• This role is for 2nd shift (hours to be determined)
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
