Akkodis is seeking an Aircraft Engineering Technician for a position in Evendale, OH. This position is long-term contract with possibility of extension or conversion to Direct Hire?

• Hourly Rate: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
• Location: Evendale, OH
• Duration: 12+ months

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in "hands on" environment in Component Test to set-up and execute tests to obtain engineering and/or component qualification data.
• Interface with Component Test customers/customer organizations as required to define test requirements and then assure test requirements are met.
• Document and communicate test.
• Test hardware and test enabling hardware set-up.
• Test data acquisition set-up.
• Test execution and test execution documentation.
• Test troubleshooting.
• Basic test results reporting and documentation.
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
• Work with both small and large teams to accomplish daily task.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or repair or other relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical, electro mechanical, hydro mechanical or similar industrial experience.
• A&P License preferred.
• Familiar with using and reading measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers.
• Hands on mechanical experience / background.
• Aviation background with understanding of Jet Engines.

• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Professional attitude and work ethic, self-starter with a desire to achieve results.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic working environment and diverse team.
• A general understanding of jet engine components and their function.
