Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and final construction estimates across a wide range of project types
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and development teams to ensure accurate scope alignment and constructability
• Analyze plans, specifications, and subcontractor pricing to develop complete, competitive estimates
• Support early-stage design development with cost planning, value engineering, and feasibility insights
• Participate in project strategy, risk analysis, and bid preparation
• Maintain estimate documentation, cost databases, and process templates for consistency and future use
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project handoffs from preconstruction to operations

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in estimating or preconstruction within commercial or industrial construction
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam Revu, OST, or similar platforms
• Experience preparing full-scope budgets and GMP proposals
• Knowledge of design-build processes and collaboration in cross-functional teams is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Background in concrete, structural systems, or specialty/automated facility types is a plus
