Title: Recruiting Event Specialists

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 3+ Months

Seeking a dynamic Recruiting Event Specialists to join our team on a contract basis. These roles are crucial in supporting our recruiting conferences and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional candidate experiences. As a Recruiting Events Specialist , you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of recruiting events across multiple locations.

This Event Specialist role will be responsible for the planning and execution of external Recruiting events.

Responsibilities (Event Planning & Execution):

  • Support the planning and execution of recruiting events, including but not limited to booking event spaces, managing catering requirements, working towards a budget, creating briefings, managing the registration and all the logistics associated with the event
  • Build and maintain event pages with accurate and brand approved content
  • Must be comfortable reviewing preparation materials and confidently speaking to multiple recruiting pipelines, as well as effectively communicating with external candidates about client's technology and products.
  • Strong satisfaction focus, with the ability to deliver exceptional candidate experiences and build rapport with external candidates across all recruiting pipelines
  • Travel and attendance at events and conferences, to provide on-site support and ensure event execution aligns with expectations
  • Support tactical needs during the event lifecycle, from setup to teardown
  • Develop and manage booth schedules to ensure adequate coverage and engagement
  • Host and support small-scale recruiting events, dinners, and candidate meetups
  • Manage inventory and SWAG for events and conferences
  • Additional responsibilities include managing shipping logistics, recruiting assets, vendor coordination and partnering with cross functional teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of event planning/ marketing, coordinator or event manager, event marketer role
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the org as well as externally
  • Experience working in a team environment and across cross functional teams
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguous situations and deliver on desired goals
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recruiting events/ events planning experience
  • Experience with Microsoft office and Google Suite, and event platforms like Splash
