Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Manufacturing Technician to support the production of advanced sensor wafers and solutions. This hands-on role is critical to producing high-quality sensor components used in various precision applications.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for a range of tasks—from preparing ceramic wafers and printing sensor circuitry to mixing chemical solutions and maintaining accurate production records. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and experience in a laboratory or production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Wafer Preparation: Perform electro-chemical chloritization, visual inspections, and weighing of ceramic wafers with precision.
Solution Preparation: Accurately measure and mix fine chemicals using pipettes, balances, and good laboratory practices.
Sensor Printing: Operate screen printers to apply precious metal inks onto ceramic wafers for sensor circuitry.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate manual and electronic records for all production processes.
Inventory Management: Track and manage materials and component inventory to ensure proper stock levels.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Prior hands-on experience in manufacturing, lab tech work, or sensor/electronic assembly
Basic computer proficiency (for data entry, inventory tracking, and documentation)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
Good time management and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate’s degree preferred
Preferred Experience (a plus but not required):
Experience with screen printing, wafer fabrication, or working in a cleanroom environment
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Background in electronics, chemistry, or materials science
