Job Description

Position Summary:

Manaflex is seeking a proactive and hands-on Facility Maintenance & EHS Manager to oversee the daily maintenance of our facility and lead Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance across the site. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of our physical plant, equipment, and environmental practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance

  • Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of building infrastructure, utilities, and production-related equipment.
  • Manage service contracts and vendors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for critical equipment and facility systems.
  • Respond to and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Manage facility-related budgets, materials procurement, and maintenance records.

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Lead safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports, MSDS, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and auditors during inspections or certifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and health protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in an EHS role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing) and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and local EHS regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work hands-on and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Certification in OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or related EHS credentials.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS or facility maintenance tracking systems.
