The Facility Manager oversees all operations and drives all commercial activities, such as partnerships and B-to-B and B-to-C relationships.

The Facility Manager is in charge of leading the staff to uphold top-notch customer service standards and ensuring efficiency to optimize business results.

The Facility Manager reports to the Regional Facility Manager.

Operations

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all activities.
  • Follow the company's operational policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards according to the facility’s compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and improvements to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition.
  • Treat all the claims and clients’ suggestions and provide adapted solutions for each case.
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with the facility staff to reinforce the teambuilding and best practices.

HR, Management, and leadership

  • Manage and coach a team of employees and provide them with guidance and support.
  • Recruit new talents and train them.
  • Conduct annual reviews, set goals, and provide regular performance evaluations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance overall team performance and customer service.
  • Coordinate employees' schedules and ensure invoice payments are made.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and actively encourage your team's professional development.
  • Propose team-building activities to promote cohesion and strengthen positive relationships among the staff within the facility.

Sales, Marketing, and Communication

  • Take over and enhance the current commercial activity.
  • Identify new business opportunities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement, such as expansion, partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, analyze performance indicators to stay ahead of industry developments, and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager and the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive revenue growth with effective sales.
  • Create tailored programs for the appropriate Socceroof clientele and adapt them based on the customer.
  • Supervise all facility events, including sports leagues, corporate events, food and beverage promotions, and private parties, to ensure high service and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Socceroof in professional events.

Finances

  • Prepare annual budgets regarding the financial targets.
  • Identify cost optimization and monitor revenue maximization to perform profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Keep the financial reports updated.
  • Approve and manage the expenses of the facility and the employees.
  • Maintain the bank account of the Facility in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications

Have relevant experience of 5 years in a similar role

Have a thorough knowledge of the processes in the soccer environment

Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus

Proficiency with the Pack Office

Knowledge of the soccer market in the NY Metropolitan Region is a plus

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position
  • Salary based on experience
  • The bonus is discretionary
  • Work is possible during the evenings or weekends.
  • Possible trips to the other facilities.
  • PTO (10 days off and five sick days) for an entire year
