Hiring: Field Service Technician – Veterans with Navy Nuclear Electrician Background Encouraged to Apply!

Region: U.S. (Electrification Smart Power Division)

Your Role & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will execute service work in accordance with ABB's quality and safety guidelines, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to customer retention. Your responsibilities will include:

• Customer Interaction: Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points through onsite visits and communication.
• Field Service Tasks: Perform technical analysis and service activities for products you are certified for, either remotely or on-site.
• Materials Management: Prepare lists of materials and ensure all necessary parts and equipment meet the required quality for service activities.
• Training: Act as a trainer for field service associates and customers when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of technical/electrical schooling preferred or relevant military experience (Navy Nuclear Electrician background highly encouraged).
• Skills: Experience with 3-phase (208/480VAC) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.), or similar/relevant military or field service experience.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Work Authorization: Candidates must have the appropriate work authorization to be employed in the U.S.
