Sara’s Mediterranean Market is a family-owned business serving Dallas–Fort Worth since 1998. Known for our fresh produce, premium butcher shop, authentic bakery, and prepared foods, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional shopping and dining experience. We are expanding and seeking a Food Service Manager to oversee our culinary operations and ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and hospitality.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations of the food service departments, including prepared foods, Chef’s Corner, bakery/pastry, and café.
  • Hire, train, and develop team members to maintain a culture of excellence, efficiency, and hospitality.
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, and presentation across all departments.
  • Manage scheduling, labor budgets, and productivity to meet company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and General Manager on menu innovation, seasonal programs, and special promotions.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs while maintaining quality.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Create and track department performance metrics, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of management experience in food service, hospitality, or grocery/retail food operations.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Proven knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Culinary or hospitality management background a plus.
