Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Role
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This individual will be the first point of contact for visitors, manage reception operations, and provide administrative support across multiple departments including HR, Training, Safety, and Operations. The role requires strong computer skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
Maintain an organized and presentable reception area.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
Provide administrative support such as preparing slide decks, maintaining databases, and creating reports.
Support administrative needs for HR, Training, Safety, and Operations teams.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes, including interview coordination, job fairs, candidate screening, and onboarding documentation.
Perform various office tasks, including ordering supplies, arranging catering for meetings, and maintaining breakroom areas.
Frequently walk the facility to update and maintain employee information boards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong typing and computer skills are essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and multitasking skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude at all times.
Physically able to walk the plant floor frequently.
Flexible to adjust hours when needed (standard schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
