Job Description

Title: Global Medical Affairs Oncology Scientific Engagement Specialist

Contract Length: 1 Year

Responsibilities:

· Lead scientific and strategic discussions to set overall scientific congress strategy, publications, and steering committees including major international and key regional meetings

· Manage overall scientific meeting planning, including identification of congresses to support a medical booth and/or HCP, investigator, and cooperative group stakeholder scientific exchange

· Collaborate closely with global medical affairs, R&D, and key regional colleagues to align on R&D booth strategy and content development

· Coordinate HCP scientific exchange in close partnership with medical affairs and R&D colleagues

· Coordinate with senior leadership to plan and execute global pre-congresses meetings across major key congresses

· Provide Medical writing support for internal strategy documents

· Provide onsite leadership and support at various congresses

· Manage budget and finance reconciliations as appropriate

· Present to senior management and business partners congress planning strategy, timelines, metrics, and benchmarking

· Serve as a subject matter expert on oncology congresses

· Drive innovation and sharing of best practice across oncology congresses

· Foster strong relationships with internal, cross-functional stakeholders and external vendor partners involved in scientific meeting congress activities

Qualifications:

· A minimum of a BA/BS required. Advanced degree is preferred.

· A minimum of 6 years of proven experience is required.

· Experience in a medical, clinical, or scientific environment is required.

· Project leadership skills and strong organizational skills are required.

· Ability to drive projects forward to completion while maintaining focus on the long-term strategy is preferred.

· Experience handling medical affairs vendors (e.g., advisory board, meeting planning) is preferred.

· Global mindset with proven track record to partner cross culturally and regionally is preferred.
