Graphic Designer

Full-Time | Hybrid | South Florida

Akel Homes, an award-winning South Florida homebuilder, is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and elevate the visual identity of a growing homebuilding brand known for quality, innovation, and lifestyle-driven communities.

As our Graphic Designer, you'll be instrumental in crafting compelling visual stories that bring our homes and communities to life. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and leadership to develop creative assets that captivate, inform, and inspire.

What You’ll Do

  • Conceptualize and execute visually impactful designs that align with brand strategy and marketing goals
  • Design a wide range of marketing materials including brochures, signage, print and digital ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, and website content
  • Contribute to community brand development—from concept through to launch and closeout
  • Develop visual assets to support promotions, sales events, and company initiatives
  • Create and refine logos and branding systems for new communities
  • Ensure consistency of brand visuals across all channels and deliverables
  • Stay current on design trends in real estate, lifestyle, and technology (including AI-powered tools)
  • Work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of professional graphic design experience (real estate, homebuilding, or lifestyle industries preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and mediums
  • Working knowledge of AI-powered creative tools and a curiosity to explore emerging design technologies as part of your creative workflow
  • Comfortable using Canva to design and customize branded templates
  • HTML and video editing skills a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to accept feedback and revise work accordingly
  • A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for innovation, branding, and storytelling
  • Positive, collaborative, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
