Job Description

Beach Riot is a vibrant women's swimwear and activewear brand based in Orange County, California.Known for our bold prints, bright colors, and luxe fabrics, we create pieces that seamlessly transition from the beach to the streets. Our collections embody the confidence and individuality of Southern California beach culture, making us a favorite among beach enthusiasts and gym-goers alike. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for fashion and lifestyle branding.This role requires the ability to translate Beach Riot's aesthetic into compelling visual content across various platforms, maintaining brand consistency and engaging our community.

Salary: $70k - 80k depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce innovative, on-brand creative solutions for digital and print requests, which include but are not limited to; email and social media designs, website designs, videos, packaging, ads, lookbooks, and point-of-sale projects.
  • Work with art director and marketing teams to conceptualize and produce artwork that meets business requirements.
  • Be a vital part of the quarterly photoshoots, advising all retouching needs, working with third party vendors to quickly receive all retouches and on brand photography.
  • Design solutions that adhere to established brand guidelines, strengthening, and expanding the reach of the brand.
  • Use knowledge-of-audience to create visuals that are perceived as relevant, understandable, and effective.
  • Use proper discretion to manage assigned projects in order to maintain a high level of efficiency and output.
  • Seek ways to streamline work, using advanced production techniques.
  • Develop and/or revise templates and efficiencies for commonly produced artwork.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation to track project development and change requests.
  • Complete responsibilities in a professional manner, always with the Company’s mission and goals in mind.
  • Collaborate with necessary cross-functional teams, engaging in design discussions, and adjusting as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven graphic design experience with an agency, corporation, or relevant work.
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and autonomously prioritize work.
  • Energetic and driven with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, and the ability to walk others through creative work and decisioning.
  • Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills.
  • Advanced proficiency level with Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
  • Advanced proficiency level with Figma.
  • Proficient in video editing software.
