About the role

You will perform in vivo studies of AAV-based cancer therapeutic candidates to advance our oncology pipeline and technology platform. You will contribute to the design of the preclinical studies and their execution, ensuring high level of scientific rigor and compliance with relevant regulations. This is an ideal position for a candidate with a strong background in in vivo experiments who thrives in a team-oriented, cross-disciplinary collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands-on in vivo experiments, including orthotopic tumor implantation via abdominal surgery, blood sampling, and drug administration (IV, IP, SC)
• Conduct routine animal health monitoring and recording; monitor tumor volume using in vivo imaging or caliper measurement.
• Perform necropsy, biological sample collection and processing (e.g. FFPE and OCT), cell dissociation and sorting, and downstream analysis such as flow cytometry and immune assays.
• Culture mammalian cells, passage and prepare cells for in vivo experiments.
• Provide input to study design and project planning.
• Generate, document and analyze in vivo study data in accordance with study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
• Interface with external laboratories and partners.

Who you are

• MSc in Life Sciences.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with murine tumor models in an academic or industry setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in rodent procedures, such as thoracic or abdominal surgery, IV dosing, and blood sampling.
• Experience in necropsy, tissue processing, cell sorting and immune assays.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Experience working in a GLP or a regulatory-compliant environment is a plus.
