As an iOS Engineer at Entain Australia & New Zealand, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation that powers our new Ladbrokes and neds platforms. This role is focused on building and enhancing the core capabilities that enable other teams to excel, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency across our systems.

Your mission will centre around developing robust internal tools, libraries, and frameworks that empower teams across the organization. You’ll also propose and implement architectural improvements to streamline development processes, improve system performance, and drive innovation across our platforms.

Where and how you can work...

This position can be based in any of our offices across Australia or New Zealand. We embrace flexibility by offering a hybrid working model, allowing employees to spend two days a week in the office to promote work-life balance and accommodate individual preferences. _ This role is open to remote candidates across Australia & New Zealand. _

Your day-to-day...

• Develop internal tools and frameworks to simplify workflows, enhance productivity, and ensure consistency across projects.
• Create and maintain shared libraries that promote reusability, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• Identify and implement architectural enhancements, uncovering opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness while driving the adoption of innovative solutions to optimize platform performance and reliability.
• Advocate for the mobile platform and collaborate with engineering and design teams to establish best practices and leverage native frameworks effectively.
• Support the development lifecycle, from ideation and design to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, setting technical standards and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

What you'll bring...

• Commercial experience with Swift 6, is an absolute requirement for this role.
• Commercial experience in building and maintaining iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Expertise in architectural design and implementing changes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Commercial experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Combine.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• A collaborative mindset and effective communication skills.
