Job Description-Data Solution Architect

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite – Cleveland, OH)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: Contract-to-hire option available ($70-80/ hr)

About the Role

As a Lead Data Solution Architect , you will be instrumental in the initiative to build out reporting for our Oracle environment to transition and convert legacy data to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will play a key role in the strategic technology investment, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with long-term business goals. This hands-on, architect-level thinking position is a part of the analytics and reporting team that continually thrives in a growing, evolving data market.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support Oracle Cloud
• Build out service models and reporting frameworks
• Design data models within Oracle Cloud
• Work closely with ETL/ELT pipelines to export and migrate data into OCI
• Support end-to-end data warehouse reporting
• Provide strategic direction on the development of architectural frameworks, patterns, and standards used across multiple products or systems
• Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, architects, product managers) to ensure the adoption of top-tier design and architecture practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Database: Oracle, Snowflake
• Advanced SQL skills
• BI Tools: Power BI, OBIEE, BO, Microstrategy, Tableau
• Architecture: Medallion architecture, semantic layer design
• ETL/ELT pipelines
• Workstreams : OTC (Order to Cash), PMI (Production, Manufacturing, Inventory), STP (Source to Pay)

Required:

• 10+ years IT experience.
• 3+ years Oracle experience
• Proficiency with BI Tools: Power BI, OBIEE, BO, Microstrategy, Tableau
• End-to-end data warehousing experience
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines
• Expertise in collaborating, communicating, and presenting with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
