Job Description

Guardian Angel Senior Services is Looking for Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking an experienced Live-In Caregiver to join our team of care professionals in providing clients with the absolute best in in-home assistance. As part of our team, you help clients with basic needs like dressing, bathing, shopping, home healthcare, and transportation. No less important is your ability to provide companionship and positive interactions with clients. You should have prior experience in caregiving or home care, and a professional appearance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with basic needs such as meal prep, dressing, grooming, bathing, laundry services, and housekeeping.
  • Provide clients with companionship and friendly, positive interactions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent listener and an empathetic companion.
  • Prior experience as a caregiver and elderly care.
  • Previous experience as a Live-In Caregiver
  • Ability to pass a background check.
Salary: $240 - $360 a day
LIVE-IN RATES: (WORK WEEK= Monday- Sunday. Day 1 starts the first day worked of the week)
  • Live-in caregivers are paid 16 hours then have 8 hours of unpaid rest.
  • Live-in Caregivers will have a sleeping area separate from the client and access to bath/shower area.
  • Clients are responsible for providing food. If this is not possible, caregiver will be reimbursed  a $10 a day meal stipend.

Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Certification is a plus, but experienced candidates will be considered. 
  • Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.
  • Good time management skills

Responsibilities
  • Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house.
  • Assist client with personal care and hygiene.
  • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client.
  • Assist with shopping errands.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties.
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
  • Report any unusual incidents.
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergences.
