Job Description

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to ensure continuous production efficiency and safe and reliable equipment reliability. The Maintenance Manager oversees preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of all machines, tools, and utility systems, along with general upkeep of buildings and grounds.

Specifically, this position:

• Directs and coordinates maintenance, installation, and repair activities to support 24/7 production operations.
• Prioritizes and schedules maintenance work orders for machines, tools, and equipment.
• Leads a team of maintenance technicians and janitorial staff.
• Oversees utility systems to ensure continuous operation of heat, steam, power, gas, and air systems.
• Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance program using equipment manufacturer guidelines.
• Routinely reviews production, quality, and maintenance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Inspects equipment and facilities for compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Plans and implements methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize utilization of labor and materials.
• Manages departmental budgets, requisition tools and supplies, and maintain parts inventory.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local inspection and safety requirements.
• Directly supervises a team of 10 maintenance and janitorial staff
• Provides training, set performance goals, evaluate results, and address performance or conduct issues in alignment with company policies and applicable laws.

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology; or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of relevant maintenance management or supervisory experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Familiarity with maintenance electrical systems and mechanical equipment
• Class 1-A Boiler License and maintenance electrical license desirable.

This position offers a salary of $80-100K, depending on experience, full benefits, and a collaborative working environment
