About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance across all shifts. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for minimizing downtime, supporting preventative maintenance efforts, and adhering to all safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform preventative maintenance and repair on production equipment to minimize downtime.
•Assist senior technicians and collaborate with contractors as needed on special projects.
•Troubleshoot mechanical issues using sound judgment and technical expertise.
•Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies; submit requisitions when necessary.
•Ensure all activities comply with company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
•Respond promptly to equipment issues and maintain communication with operations teams.
•Provide support and guidance to junior team members, including training on equipment use and documentation.
•Uphold a clean and safe work environment, addressing spills and hazards immediately.
What You Bring:
•Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
•Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
•Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and OSHA compliance
•Ability to read technical drawings and follow SOPs and GMP guidelines
•Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
•Proven ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently, and take initiative
•Willingness to carry a cell phone for on-call maintenance responsibilities
