About the Role:

As a Medicaid Specialist , you will play a critical role in supporting clients through one of the most significant transitions of their lives—planning for long-term care while preserving their family’s financial future. This is not just a technical role; it's a client-centered position that requires analytical thinking, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of Medicaid regulations.

You’ll partner closely with our attorneys and planning teams to develop customized asset protection strategies, guide families through the Medicaid application process, and advocate for their needs through challenges, appeals, and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Expertise : Assess Medicaid eligibility, prepare detailed and compliant applications, and remain current with evolving federal and state regulations.
  • Drive Strategy & Execution : Coordinate and schedule strategy sessions and client signings, ensuring a seamless and informed experience throughout the planning process.
  • Champion Client Onboarding : Guide new clients through the onboarding process by gathering essential information and documentation, setting the tone for a trusted and professional relationship.
  • Master Document Management : Implement and maintain a well-organized system for collecting, verifying, and securely managing client documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility at every step.
  • Bridge Communication : Act as a liaison between clients and case managers, delivering timely updates, relaying key information, and supporting case progress through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Foster Trusted Relationships : Maintain consistent and thoughtful communication with clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing clarity as their case moves forward.
  • Collaborate for Impact : Work hand-in-hand with attorneys, case managers, and support staff to develop strategic care plans and ensure each client feels informed, supported, and valued.
  • Educate & Innovate : Participate in internal training and community education efforts, sharing insights and identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and client outcomes.
