Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Seattle, Washington . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a full range of Medical Assistant duties, including operating diagnostic equipment, changing wound dressings, administering non-intravenous medications, performing venipunctures, and conducting EKGs, with quality control checks on all equipment.
  • Prepares patients for examination, rooms them according to protocol, and ensures accurate, timely patient care documentation in medical records.
  • Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians and in line with company policies, consistently maintaining patient confidentiality and showing courtesy and respect.
  • Organizes and stocks exam and treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments, and adheres to strict infection control protocols.
  • Conducts patient intake through phone and in-person screenings, gathering essential information without applying clinical judgment.
  • Supports and follows Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO), assisting with additional duties as assigned to support team operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Medical Assistant certification or registration required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant is required

Additional Information:

  • Location: Seattle, Washington
  • Job Type: contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 20.00 to 27.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
