Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Batching & Prepping Manager to oversee night shift operations. This role is responsible for leading a team to ensure efficient batch preparation in accordance with established formulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on supervision, training, and coordination to optimize production processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.

• Supervise and direct the batching and prep team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Train and develop team members to improve performance and adherence to production standards.
• Oversee manufacturing equipment operation, including blenders, pumps, and tanks, ensuring proper product routing and real-time documentation.
• Manage team schedules and collaborate with leadership and HR on personnel-related matters.
• Monitor ingredient inventory levels and coordinate supply orders to maintain production efficiency.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures, ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and industry regulations.
• Work closely with production staff to streamline workflow and meet daily production goals.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of batching processes, quality control, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
