Insight Global is seeking an experienced NX CAD Designer to support one of our top clients in the filtration industry. We are looking for CAD designers who are actively using Siemens NX software and Teamcenter. This is a short-term contract role focused on updating 3D models and 2D drawings for systems implemented for one of their key customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Job entails modeling and detailing components for air inlet systems for gas turbines
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of 5 engineers and 5–6 CAD designers to execute design updates.
• Apply engineering markups to revise and enhance existing 3D models using NX CAD software.
• Conduct model reviews to ensure alignment with engineering specifications and markups.
• Create and update 2D manufacturing drawings with precision and clarity.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, including thorough self-checking of work.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in NX CAD design.
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and design change implementation.
• Familiarity with larger assembly models
• Parametric modeling, fully constraining components and being able to detail/draw/dimension component parts
• Prefer someone who is familiar with welding and applying weld symbols
• Knowledge of sheetmetal and weldments.
