Job Description

Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with an established and growing furniture solutions company that is looking for an Office Coordinator to support both front desk operations and project/order management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and ensures smooth day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, manage the reception area, and provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and employees.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
  • Process, track, and close project orders accurately, including logging status, coordinating shipping/delivery, and supporting invoicing.
  • Communicate with clients, internal staff, and vendors/manufacturers to resolve order issues and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, and preparing documentation for proposals, orders, and deliveries.
  • Maintain organized records, track project status, and ensure proper closeout of files according to company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in receptionist, office assistant, or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days week.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly communicative.
  • Comfortable managing both front desk responsibilities and operational/project tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
