IOTA Community Schools is a network of four public charter schools in Memphis, Tennessee. We operate both "fresh start" schools and "zoned-enrollment" turnaround schools. From 6th through 12th grades, our schools serve predominantly minority and low-income populations likely to be first-generation college attendees. Beginning in 2025-26, IOTA is opening an elementary school in Little Rock, Arkansas.
IOTA Community Schools is seeking Paraprofessionals doing 1:1 in the Memphis area at Hillcrest High School for the current school year. We truly believe that every student, whatever their circumstances, holds the innate potential to achieve their goals and succeed in college, leadership, and life.
Our staff is committed to continuing their own learning and refining their practice to stay current in the field ensuring a quality education for all. IOTA offers specialized professional development, bi-weekly observations, and opportunities to grow and develop to enable strong teaching and learning in every classroom.

Compensation:
The wage for this position will be $17-$19 per hour. Please note that candidates who are new to their role or newly promoted can expect offers between the minimum and the mid-point of the range. To allow for salary progression over time, offers at the top of the range are rare. Individual education and experience will be considered when issuing offers.
