Pharmacy Technician - (Methuen, MA)

Overview/Responsibilities:

• Precisely input new and refill prescription orders, patient information, and insurance details into the pharmacy management system.
• Execute the prescription filling process: selecting the correct medication and dosage to calculating quantities and generating labels.
• Prepare and stage completed prescription orders (bottles, compounds, etc.) for the pharmacist's final verification.
• Organize, package, and label completed prescriptions securely for shipment, coordinating with carriers for daily pick-ups.
• Maintain optimal stock levels by performing routine counts, receiving and checking in daily pharmaceutical orders, rotating stock to prevent expiration, and proactively placing drug and supply orders to prevent shortages.
• Primary responsibilities revolve around the efficient dispensing of product, secure packaging, and rigorous inventory control, with minimal direct engagement with patients.

Requirements :

• Massachusetts Pharm Tech license
• 2+ years of retail experience

Schedule/Shift : Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
