Job Title: Plant Process Engineer

Location: Griffith, IN

Salary: $90,000-$115,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Plant Process Engineer to join our client's organization in the Griffith, IN area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and address production bottlenecks.
• Conduct daily meetings with operators and team leaders.
• Provide technical support to various teams.
• Monitor process reliability and define improvements.
• Perform inspections and prepare reports.
• Conduct process and energy audits.
• Track and analyze raw materials.
• Ensure product quality and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
• Train operational personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Minerals Processing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role within maintenance or operations.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting.
• Background in manufacturing related to mining, paper mills, steel plants, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, stone processing, cement plants, rotary kilns, etc.
• Positive and proactive attitude with high initiative.
• Ability to communicate production and process plans effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Good technical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Detail and process-oriented with strong problem resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support a continuous improvement environment.
