Job Summary:
The Program Manager for Portfolio Management and Sourcing supporting the Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) within Client will be responsible for facilitating the processes associated with optimizing machine utilization across the three sites of PMTC and outsource partners. This role involves facilitating and tracking activities involved in capacity/demand analysis, coordination with various departments to ensure the efficient use of capability and capacity and improved operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capacity/Demand Analysis: Support the team in establishing and maintaining a process for capacity/demand analysis, including reviewing current capacity, forecast demand, and making agreements on capacity reserves.
• Site to Site and Insource/Outsource Management: Enable optimization of internal capacity utilization by managing the transfer of part manufacturing between sites as well as outsourcing and insourcing of components as demand fluctuates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives set by management.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs): Track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in program management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various departments and suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in using project management tools and software
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification desirable
Requirements:
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of NPI processes and production planning
• Familiarity with insource/outsource concepts and supplier management
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Opcenter MES/APS systems a plus
