Job Description

MAU is hiring a Project Engineer for our client in Richmond, VA. As a Project Engineer, you will manage the qualification process for equipment to ensure it meets required standards. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

• Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred)
• 1+ year of engineering or manufacturing experience
• Experience in project management

• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes

Essential Functions:

• Develop qualification standards with Global Supply Chain and Engineering teams
• Manage timelines and scope for equipment purchases, installation, and qualification
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of Capex Purchasing Process steps
• Attend and facilitate Kaizens and Roadmaps to support capacity ramp-up
• Lead efforts to ensure Smartsheet schedule accuracy
• Use engineering and manufacturing knowledge to improve qualification processes and reduce costs
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Provide regional and global shop support
• Foster a positive work environment focused on urgency, quality, and continuous improvement
