Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Manager (Who resides in the the Columbus, Ohio area ) to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or processes. This role ensures that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Manage documentation and records related to quality assurance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQM/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ERP and QMS software.
• Led a team of 5 direct reports
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
