Our client, global leader in food & beverages, specializes in quality fruit juices, concentrations, and flavor blends. We’re seeking a R&D Lab Technician who brings a passion to help us deliver fresh, consistent, and unforgettable taste experiences every time.

Location: L.A County, CA

Pay rate: $29- $30/ hr.

Jo type: Contract-hire

Schedule: M-F: 8-5pm, fully onsite

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of flavor samples and prototypes.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and observations.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces.
• Assist in the evaluation of flavor samples using sensory analysis techniques.
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
• Order and maintain inventory of lab supplies.
• Support senior scientists and flavorists in research and development projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for food and flavor.
