Garden City area law firm seeks a full-time experienced assistant.
The firm seeks a friendly, well-spoken person to answer phones for prospective client intakes, client inquiries, and appointments.Responsibilities include data entry, database and website research, document processing, proofreading, filing, mail preparation, email monitoring. and general multitasking.
The applicant must be detail-oriented with high accuracy across all tasks. A New York State notary license is a plus, and a driver's license is a must.
This is a supportive work environment with monthly staff luncheons and individual monthly conferences.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm with a paid lunch hour.
Starting pay: $22–$26/hour, depending on experience.

Detail-Oriented : Meticulous attention to detail, extremely organized.
Multitasker : Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Outlook, MS Access, MS Word, WordPerfect, and Excel.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
